This is about the 4th or 5th time I’ve thought about this over the last couple of years, and I have half an inkling I may have even asked this before, but a search of the archives drew a blank. Apologies if I have. In any case, here goes:
I’ve been hunting around the web looking for a script (any language) that could take uncompiled AppleScript and return an html markup of that text that would replicate (or as near as possible) compiled “pretty” AppleScript syntax highlighting. The purpose of such a script would be to make it easier to post “pretty” AppleScripts into web/blog pages.
e.g, as its done on websites like this: http://applescript.bratis-lover.net
I found a few part-completed projects here and there, but nothing anywhere near complete. Before I finally take the plunge and have a crack at writing one myself, does anyone know if this wheel has already been (publicly) invented?
Ta in advance
Phil
