What else ?

  • Subject: What else ?

The discussion about Sal's departure has been fascinating so far.

But as has suggests, if Apple wants to make Siri a great product that competes with Google and the like they'll have to offer some sort of glue between apps, so we're probably safe that there will be some ways to access our apps one way or another.

So, let's put that aside and focus on what we have now it terms of scripting tools on the platform either by Apple or by third parties.

Right now, thanks to the various recent threads, I'm aware of:

1) Applescript
2) has' standard libraries
3) ASObjC
4) Swiftautomation
5) Scriptarian

What else is there that's useable ?

Jean-Christophe
