G’day scripters.
Second re-post to this list, instead of ApplescriptObjC list.
In addition to my request of a method to quit and restart a running Application, under Sierra, I’ve struck a problem using Bill’s snippet…
tell application "System Events" to set GUIScriptingEnabled to UI elements enabled -- read-only in OS X 10.9 Mavericks and newer About a dozen or more times now, when I’ve compiled my App, and struck a bug, rebuilds of the App result in the above snippet always returning ‘true’, for every re-build and run.
The only method of resetting the results of the snippet are to re-boot my iMac.
Trying to actually use accessibilty before any re-boot fails, though.
Any thoughts? Particuarly from Bill.
Regards, & thanks,
Santa
