No. It uses garbage collection for its memory management, and that's no longer supported in Sierra.

ASObjC Runner has actually been unsupported since Mavericks (10.9), although it seems to have run fine on 10.10 and 10.11.

Most of the scripting stuff is now available in a different form via my BridgePlus library. For a progress dialog, you can use Apple's own progress implementation, or Stefan Klieme's SKProgressBar: <http://www.klieme.com/Downloads/SKProgressBar/SKProgressBar1.6.zip>.
