Hi,

Within a script (Running since 2013) this command "set volume output volume (soundVolume)"

I get this error;

Can’t make «class ocid» id «data optr00000000608A630000600000» into type small real.

A previous Display Dialog shows soundVolume as 50

Any idea what Sierra has done to this?

It's not a Sierra problem.

It's that the instruction is embedded in a piece os ASObjC code and you get an ObjC structure.

It would be useful to see the complete script to help you.

If it's too long for the list, and only in such case, send it to my mailbox so that I may look at it.
