Just a few minutes ago while perusing RSS feeds, I noticed that I had a small blank tab (normally article titles are there) above the article area. Tabs appear there whenever a feed is expanded. I dismissed the tab. and my problem disappeared as well.
I’ll likely never find out how that tab got there or how it could call up Script Editor.
