Yes, but I did not think it was the same thing... I don't understand that just adding the name property changes the nature of the file (now, it that's a bug, that's a different thing :)

You can't give a document a name and then save it to a folder path.
You have to provide the full save-path.

Ok, noted.

Ok, so you confirm that there is no "format" property or anything in TE, right ?

command syntax

save reference ¬
     as text ¬
     in alias

Ok, but that is in the Standard Suite, not in the TE suite. And when I explore my RTF documents in SD I don't find any indication that they are of a specific format. Am I wrong? Or is it something that I should not worry about because I can find that information by other means?

Ok, but that would actually result in opening the thing right?  Which would for for me. I just need to have the thing be on a link and "click" it to open the target file.

If all you need to do is click the link then it's not too difficult.

Perfect.

# Task: Click first hyperlink in a RTF document.

I'm checking what Accessibility Inspector gives for my file and I'm not seeing anything related to cursor position (which could be used a the position of the link to open etc.) Even UI Browser does not seem to know about the text that is not a link. Or am I missing something ?
