I believe this used to be possible:
tell application process "Mail"
set frontmost to true
tell scroll area 1 to tell UI element 1 to set focused to true
end tell
But script editor throws an error:
Can’t get scroll area 1 of application process \"Mail\". Invalid index." number
-1719 from scroll area 1 of application process "Mail"
I am trying to place the cursor into the body of the mail compose window.
