Hello
Is one of you knowing what is returned by :
use framework "AppKit" -- for NSScreen
set theScreens to (current application's NSScreen's screens()) theScreens's |count|()
when executed on a mac with two monitors ?
I assume that it's 2 but I'm not sure and don't ave several monitors available.

You're right, it is the count of screens plugged into the Mac.

Thanks Robert and thanks Steve too.
Somebody is asking for a piece of code opening some application if he connects an external monitor to its macBook so I assume that using and idle script testing the count of displays may solve the problem.
Yvan, A note here; The script only notes monitors PLUGGED in, not necessarily powered up.
