Hi all, I wonder if anyone has managed this before? I posted a question on SO but didn't get any responses yet!

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/42119708/call-custom-uri-scheme-eg-lightroom-myplugin-from-shell-terminal-app

I'm trying to call lightroom plugin links from AppleScript. It's a url in the form lightroom://myplugin/options but when I do this with a tell Safari i get a "do you want to allow" popup that requires user input, and when I do it via firefox I get endless tabs (I'm calling hundreds of these urls).

I don't need any response back or anything, just need to know it's been sent. Doing it via the browser doesn't seem a very nice way of handling it. Does anyone have a good idea of how to manage this better?

Many thanks,
James
