  • Thread-topic: Scripting Better Applescript support requests !

Hi everyone!

In 5 years, I wrote thousands of Applescripts lines to treat Excel files, convert pictures within Photoshop, use Unix layer to create zip files and send them through FTP or find documents with regexp, etc.

Some of my scripts use all these bricks, by the way.

I cannot think right now of another programmation language that would provide me a way to do this, using the strength of each application to build an advanced flow of data + information.

It's truly heart-breaking news, but thank you for the infos anyway...

Cheers,

Olivier Martineau

Jean-Christophe,

I don't know, it depends on exactly what you mean.
Sorry, but I don't have any more info.  You will need to do the research.

Best Regards,

Does that allow inter-app processes ? Like, my two main scripts are using Mail+Finder+Calendar for one and Finder+Numbers+Mail for the other with data flowing from one to the other.
