	Unfortunately, I don’t know anything about Ruby.  But I do know Perl, so it would probably be easier for me to rewrite those parts in Perl rather than attempt a go with Ruby and gems.  I’ll try it first, though.

	I hadn’t thought about this route, so this is great and gives me a lot to go on.
