I have a vague recollection of it working at one stage, in the sense that it returned the same useless value as the 'info for' command. But it looks like it (and NSFileImmutable and NSFileAppendOnly) have been dropped from the file manager. The general advice is to use NSURLs rather than the FileManager these days anyway.
