Right, thanks. I was just struggling with that very same issue.
I think that’s the reason for the false first run. I had wrongly assumed the whole script got executed from top to bottom when called like a normal script, but as you say, it starts with the ‘perform mail action’ line.
I will edit the script to take into account this new knowledge.
