Add a <!DOCTYPE...> section to the file.
I understand XML reasonably well, I used to write xlst not so long ago, even with the help of the Oreilly book etc. I just can't make sense of what's written in the Foundation doc right now.
So, you wrote:
set theDTD to current application's NSXMLDTD's new()
And when I was looking for info on the Foundation files, reading:
I had no idea that new() was what I was missing. So I was trying all sorts of things but not that. And of course I was failing.
I guess it mostly shows the huge gaps in my understanding of AS in general though...
