K&R 1988, SICP 1996, Ansi Common Lisp 1997, Practical Common Lisp 2005. All of
them are still totally relevant today. Fundamentals of technology don't change
overnight.

Making a living writing books is amazing! It was also written that he has a PhD
in ancient Greek and was a teacher for a while. That's excellent. But barely
relevant to the fact that the book is falsely given as a way to "learn the
language". Maybe that's the way he learned ancient Greek, but that's certainly
not the way people should have to be taught languages (either natural or
artificial).
