Satimage Smile on High Sierra?
Satimage Smile on High Sierra?

I know I'm coming awfully late to this party, but I finally decided to give
Smile a spin last night. On launch I get an error message about compiling
SmileLab Common.applescript, but with no immediately apparent effect on
functionality. Where functionality does seem to be impaired, however, is in
trying to open dictionaries, which results in the following message in the
Smile console window:
alias "London:Users:mgrant:Applications:AppleScript
Extras:Smile:Smile.app:Contents:Resources:More stuff:sdef
stuff:dictionary.xsl" doesn’t understand the “«event XML open»” message.
No result was returned from some part of this expression.
Is anyone successfully using Smile on High Sierra? Is it worth spending any
more time with, or should I just stick to Script Debugger?
Michael

There's really no such thing as translating. It's all a scam. We basically
just make stuff up and try to make it sound plausible.
