I'm thinking of using a "trick". Since my default size for Terminal windows is
80 columns, checking whether a window is 80 columns wide is a good enough way
to see if I modified the window to fullscreen or not, since that's the only
display modification I do when I use Terminal. Not portable but good enough.
I saw a reply on Stackoverflow yesterday about fullscreen status in Mountain
Lion and that was painful.
