The original question was a very loosely worded question. Apologies for that.
I'm basically trying to find a way to reliably test whether any given
(Terminal) window is in fullscreen mode or not.
Without Script Debugger I would be totally hopeless. It's explorer helped me
realise that there was absolutely no trivial way to do that. So from that, any
trick is fine. My "number of row" test
And as Shane wrote, this is Terminal specific since it doesn't look like there
is unified way of doing that.
I was checking tabs in TextEdit too and it looks like there are implemented in
a way totally different from Terminal. Weird.
