Importing mail into Outlook is one thing I've never needed to do, so I can't
really say how easy it is.
But the SDEF is fairly extensive, and with Script Debugger
6<http://latenightsw.com>, it should be doable with reasonable effort.

Sorry, I don't have any details handy on Outlook 2016 scripting
issues/restrictions, I just remember reading that there were some. I'm sure a
Google search will turn up the info you need.

Not as good, of course, as having the actual scripting dictionary, but maybe
enough to give you an idea of what's available.
You can't buy Outlook 2011 from Microsoft anymore, but it should be available
from 3rd parties, like eBay.

Thank you for the suggestions.
If things don't get fixed in 10.13.1 I guess I'll have to consider alternatives.
Can Outlook import Mail data easily ?
Also, what is the issue with AS support in Office/Outlook 2016 ?
