I get no error with
tell application "Finder"
insertion location
end tell
—> folder "Desktop" of folder "OzSanta" of folder "Users" of startup disk of
application “Finder"
Running on new, 1 week old i7 27” iMac, 10.13.4, clean install restored from
Time Machine. No Finder windows open. ‘Earth 3D v5.0.0’ running as Desktop &
Screen Saver.
Developer Tools:
Version: 9.1 (9B55)
Location: /Applications/Xcode.app
Applications:
Xcode: 9.1 (13532)
Instruments: 9.1 (63512)
