I’m not sure if anyone is paying attention, but Don is right—you don’t need a
“tell application FileMaker” wrapper when an AppleScript is run from within
FileMaker. FM is already the default target.

Plus, if you want to debug that script in an external editor, use Script
Debugger and just change the Default Target application to FileMaker. Then you
don’t even need to edit the script to do step-by-step debugging *without* a
tell statement.
