If Apple would've implemented rule actions like any AppleScript
user/implementor would expect, then it would've been easy to delete any element
of the rule. But no, they did it be supplying a bunch of properties on the
rule. If setting the "play sound" property to "" still plays some default sound
for you (it doesn't for me), then just set it to some sound you don't have,
like "xxxxxxxxxxxx" or "lajsdfljasdf". Note that Mail still shows that it's set
to "Mail Fetch Error Sound" when you look at the rule in Prefs, but it's really
not. Inspect it via AppleScript (or ScriptDebugger) and you'll see it's set to
what you set it to.
