Hi, SJ,
I checked whole my ebook series.
"Scripting Book" series (FileMaker Pro, Music.app, iWork(Keynote, Pages,
Numbers), CotEditor, Mail.app, Web browsers)
This series is main contents for me. I'll update 2 or 3 macOS update.
This series has macOS update history descriptions, scripting parts technologies
and command references.
If my Mac mini M1 does not break, this perspective may be kept.
I'm planing to write about Finder or other apps next.
"Basic Technics" series. I'm checking this series. It has 28 books now (Wao!).
This series does not have macOS version related description besides of "System
Preferences" --> "System Settings". New FontBook.app removed Scripting
functions, so issue about Font can not be updated whether I write FontBook
compatible script library.
"Practical Technics" series. The first book of this series is about "GUI
Scripting". This technology get many impact from every macOS update and *bugs*.
I want to update this series but I can not promise whole contents update. macOS
& AppleScript update history and command references will be updated.
"Cocoa Scripting Course" series. This series is too large and Apple make many
bugs frequently in their early macOS update. This series descrive about Cocoa
scripting. It is hard to update quickly.
I'll select to write new issue rather than checking for macOS update.
"AppleScript Latest Reference"
This book is too large. 483 pages of contents exists. It is hard to update this
book in every macOS update. Now, I wrote small theme books and gather update
information for this. This book has a supplement ebook made for FileMaker Go
and iPhone or iPad. This supplement book supports macOS 12.
"AppleScript 10 latest technologies"
This book is too large to quick update. But I have a willing to update this
book soon.
This contained macOS & AppleScript history section. But I'll remove this in the
next update.
This will be whole new book.
"Calling Siri from AppleScript"
I'll update this book while Siri live.
The most major obstacle is macOS's Bugs. We can not get stable macOS without
XX.5 or XX.6 update.
I hope them to make stable OS. And they have to write Update release document.
