Sorry, I goofed. Even after creating a simple project to make sure I had my facts correct before posting, I still didn't catch my error. The "30" parameter was for a 30 second delay, but in my head it was a 5 because that's what I had been using for days. I wasn't waiting long enough for the log messages to prove it was actually working. Doh.
