Where do you see that?

What I saw is going to menu "Project" -->"Edit Project Settings"
Select "Build" and scroll down to GCC 4.2 Code Generation and scroll to
"Objective-C Garbage Collection" it states there that it is unsupported.

I did start from scratch,
