Help with Table please

G'day Lister

I'm trying in an applescriptObjC project to add items from 2 pop-up buttons to a table.

I've got Shanes eBook, but my dilemma is that the pop up menu for the Array Controller does not have a App Delegate choice. It only has a 'Shared User Defaults Controller' in the menu choices that actually doesn't stop the app from compiling.

I've got the contents of the table linked to a variable, and I think I've got the bindings right.

The book is a bit thin on the ground when trying to understand what's wrong, but I'm presuming that this line is to blame, but it can't be removed of course.

property NSUserDefaults : class "NSUserDefaults"

Being a relative noob, I simply am at a loss as how to address the problem.

Can anyone guide me to a suitable site, or offer some assistance please?

Regards

Brian Christmas
