Recommended build settings?

Since ASObj will not run on older than OS X 10.6, it will not run on PPC, which means it seems odd to have the default build settings all set up to build Universal apps that refer to all kinds of PPC. I do note, however, that the 'kind' of a simple ASObjC apps becomes "Application (Intel)" rather than Universal, despite build is set to Universal, so maybe the build settings have no effect on ASObjC(?)
So, what are the recommended build settings that make the app run on all supported machines, but that does not pretend to run on unsupported machines and does not provide unnecessary "junk"?
My uncertain guesses would be:
Architectures: 64-bit Intel
Valid Architectures: x86_64
Instruction Scheduling: None
Or will this not even make a difference? When I tested on a small app, it did not even affect the number of bytes in the resulting app. This, however, is no proof, since it might (or might not) depend on the content of the app.
