Have text automatically resize to fit a field

If I've asked this before, please forgive me.

Is there a *reasonably* easy way in AppleScriptObjC to have text entered
into a text field automatically shrink in size when you get to the end of
the field, so it doesn't truncate or run off the edge? Acrobat Pro lets
you do this for text fields, so I'm hoping you can do it in cocoa too
without completely having to reprogram the fields.

Thanks!
