Why can't I set the scrolling to the top, please?

G'day scripters

In my latest App, I'd like the user to be presented with the scrolling on 1 Scroll View and a Table View to always be set to the top every time they open the App.

I've got the following routine, but it's useless; once they've run the App and altered the scrolling, that scrolling is  set for good on  subsequent re-opens, unless I re-boot my iMac.

Is there any way I can set the scrolling please?

Regards

Santa

# Now set the scroll bars to the top of the Scroll View
theNewColorsView's scrollRangeToVisible_({location:1, |length|:0})

# Now set the scroll bars to the top of the Table
colorListTable's scrollRowToVisible_(1)
