Action is not defined on AppDelegate

Action is not defined on AppDelegate

  • Subject: Action is not defined on AppDelegate

In interface builder, if I right click on the AppDelegate, a couple of my action methods have a yellow warning triangle instead of the filled in circles on the right. Hovering over the triangle reveals the message:

'<my> action is not defined on <my>AppDelegate'

The methods are indeed defined in the AppDelegate file, and even more curiously do fire when the target is clicked.

What does this warning mean, and how do I get rid of it? Again, just to repeat, the actions marked with this warning are working fine when I build and run the app (debug build only so far).

TIA

Phil
