The most likely explanation, given what you've posted before, is that it's just too big. AppleScript has limits, and it sounds like you're hitting them. No amount of juggling stuff between classes is likely to make any difference.

You need to stop trying to do so much in a single app. AppleScript simply wasn't designed to scale to massive sizes.

But I've said this before, and you didn't believe me then, so I'm not sure why I'm posting it yet again...
