Some time ago I requested help with my project only building the correct icon about 20% of the time.
While I didn’t receive an answer, I’ve found the following procedure to work 100% of the times I’ve tried it.
1. Execute 2 ‘Cleans’, waiting for the message to disappear each time.
2. Execute a ‘Build for Running’.
3. Execute one more ‘Clean’.
4. Execute a ‘Build for Running’.
It’s important that you don’t do anything with the Finder during this process, or it will fail.
My app, comprising 13 files, compressed, is 5.847 MB. Uncompressed it’s 8.561 MB, with the main script object being close to the maximum allowed, so the size may be the primary problem.
