other interests. The User Group Program will continue under the care of
the User Group Advisory Board and me. I'm excited to be involved with
Apple User Groups and look forward to working with you in the weeks and
months to come.

2] - UGAB Holds Fourth Focus Group
.......................
The User Group Advisory Board held the fourth in a series of MUG leader
focus groups on October 29. Marc Bizer of H-Mac, Sam Crutzinger of
Global Online Macintosh Users Group and Lynda Fudold of Planet MUG
participated in the conference call.
Online and virtual user groups were the focus for this session. The
discussion examined the differing types of online and virtual MUGs,
challenges they face, how they utilize Apple user group resources, and
what requirements they should meet to be considered a "recognized" user
group.
The focus groups allow individual MUG leaders to interact with the User
Group Advisory Board, Regional Liaison Team, and the Apple user group
program and provide feedback and recommendations on a variety of
designated topics.
