1] - Maria Arguello Named Online Regional Liaison
.......................
Maria Arguello has been appointed to the Regional Liaison team as the
representative for online groups. A native-born Nicaraguan and American
naturalized citizen, Maria is the president and vendor liaison of the
Main Line Macintosh Users Group (MLMUG). She is an active member of
several user groups including the Macintosh User Group of Southern New
Jersey (MUGSNJ), Princeton Macintosh User Group (PMUG) where she serves
as a board member, South Jersey Apple User Group (SJAUG), the Macintosh
Business Users Society (MacBUS) and Macs@ PACS.
A retired teacher, Maria enjoys learning about the diversity of the
user group community. She has a daughter and three grandchildren who
are all Mac users.

Susan Pipala.

Students at Minnesota's Winona State University are forming teams and
making iMovies for the third annual Make-A-Movie Contest, co-sponsored
by Winona's campus user group, Winona MUG. Entries will be premiered

5] - Milestones - dBug, Santa Fe MUG
.......................
Seattle's Mac user group, dBug, celebrated their twentieth anniversary
on February 11 with a presentation on iLife '04 and the iPod, capped
with a roof-raising GarageBand demo. Two lucky winners went home from
the meeting with iLife '04 and an iPod.
Author Robin Williams joined other Santa Fe Macintosh User Group
founding members and luminaries to host SFMUG's 10th anniversary
celebration on March 3. Party-goers enjoyed live GarageBand music, a
feature presentation by Scott Gaidano of Drive Savers and a bountiful
raffle.
