Apple User Group Bulletin - April 15, 2005
....................................................................
Hello Everyone,
After more than half a decade on the User Group Advisory Board (UGAB),
Lorene Romero has decided to move on. I'd like everyone to join me in
thanking Lorene for her tireless efforts on behalf of the user group
community and in wishing her well with all of her future endeavors.
Over the years, Lorene has added energy and spunk to the UGAB and she
has left some mighty big shoes to fill. All the best to you, Lorene.
I'd also like everyone to join me in welcoming two new members to the
UGAB.
Lynn Poos has been a Regional Liaison since that program started in
2001. Over that time he has been a very valuable proponent for user
groups and a tireless volunteer. Lynn is the Secretary/Treasurer of
the Silicon Mountain Macintosh User Group and a retiree from the L.A.
County Sheriff's Department. Welcome, Lynn!
Tom Piper founded appleJAC MUG in 1984 and has cumulatively served as
its president for 15 years. He has also been a Regional Liaison since
2003. He currently serves as a Missouri state health planner and
regulator and operates MacQuest Consulting. (He also proudly boasts
that he has owned almost every Apple and Mac made.) Welcome, Tom!
Enjoy!
Jeff Mosqueda
