1] - Crawdads and Mousepads: AAAUG Crawfish Boil in Louisiana ........................
The Acadiana Area Apple Users Group (AAAUG) is hosting their first annual AAAUG Crawfish Boil on Saturday, April 26 at Girard Park in Lafayette, Louisiana. The festivities start at noon and AAAUG members eat free. If you find yourself in the area and want to attend, there is a small cover charge. Even better, join AAAUG and attend as a member!

3] - Increasing Attendance at Meetings: The Rest of Us (Chicago) ........................
We all have them: members who pay their annual dues but never seem to make it to the meeting. The Rest of Us (TROU) has a great way to increase attendance at meetings. For each meeting, attending members get one raffle ticket and are able to earn additional tickets for bringing in new members. A tally of tickets earned is posted throughout the year. Better yet, at the end of the year the winning ticket wins an iMac.
Visit TROU and view their next meeting preview. http://216.183.98.30/~th3r35t0fu5/ _____________________________________________________________________
4] - Increasing Membership: Hong Kong Macintosh User Group ........................
One way to attract new members is with a clever video. Check out the QuickTime video the Hong KongMacintosh User Group has on their "About Us" page. Even long-time members will find their short clip fun.

5] - Tuesday Night Clinics: Washington Apple Pi Offers Help ........................
Apple user group members are known for community service, including members helping members. Washington Apple Pi (WAP) offers a Tuesday night help clinic staffed by volunteers. Not only will Pi help you with your newest and shiniest Mac, they'll advocate for fixing and using your old Mac as well. As their advertisement says, "Macintosh Computers are unique in the computing world in that they just keep working long after a PC has been replaced."
