....well I don't know why there is too much surprise here about showing
young people.
For those who attended one or all the UGUs they know that one key issue
there was trying to know how to catch young (youth) attention so, now young
people can see that UG are not just formed with "old" people (I can be old
at 33 for someone ;) .... ), they can have now the interest to see & gives
MUGs a chance, if not, why David Roemer had 2 UGU on a road trying to
explain how to attract young people or form MUGs at universities ???!!!!
And about me being at the start page, well I just can tell you, next time
you go to a MW, volunteer for everything you can, anytime you see a camera
try to stand there for the picture, and smile, then you will have a big
chance to make the next update ;)
This can sound hard but in fact is a reality, I didn't saw all the new
pictures, but from the ones I saw, I can tell that all people place there
were those who volunteer some how, is a way to say thanks to us, ( and that
is my interpretation).
:)

The photo of Dave Marra, Amaya Gergoff and me that's featured on the new

I can attest to that, as it was taken with my then-brand-new Canon S30.

As for David Harris' observation that "The user group opening page shows a

lot of young people," from my vantage point on the far side of forty it's a
