I hear you Macbeth but.........
More often then not it is a case of finances. It is not that it "stinks", it
is the fact that company after company is folding up shop, or being bought
by another company. Having a User Group division is one teeny tiny party of
the PR department. It is usually one of the first parts to go.
This is why it is soooo important for those of you who plan to attend User
Group University to take the information back to your members. THESE vendors
are supporting our community.
They are supporting us and we as leaders need to encourage our members to
purchase from them. Casady & Greene is an excellent example of a vendor that
goes to the mat for us.

Well, that stinks...no user group help from yet another company. It
seems to be a trend lately.
What does this mean for those looking to provide a win-win situation for
both the company (PR & marketing for the price of a donation of
software/hardware) and the user group (Info and look-see into products
that are available for the Mac to other mac users)???
