MACDINNER 10.2 MOVES TO LARGER HALL AFTER ARTICLES
MacCentral articles spurs attendance for Macintosh User Group event
in NJ and new tickets are now available for a limited time
[Red Bank, NJ]: Alice Larson, MacWaves of NJ Mac User Group
President, announced today that there are now additional tickets
available after the relocation of the up-coming MacDinner 10.2 to a
larger facility, but at the same location for Sunday, July 28, 2002.
"MacCentral was really instrumental in getting the word out to the
Mac using public," reports Larson. "We have been so pleased with the
response by vendors, end users, MUGs and our speakers and are looking
forward to a wonderful event." According to Larson, the event's
publicity on MacCentral made the difference, "once the articles from
Dennis [Sellers] came out, interest increased considerably for
attendees as well as supporting vendors and organizations. We're
really proud of how well we're doing and appreciate all of the great
attention we have received." These vendors and manufacturers have
provided some products for the event as well.
There are now an additional thirty (30) seats available for anyone
who'd like to attend this event that will feature a keynote by "Your
Mac Life" host and producer, Shawn King as well as presentations by
Apple Senior Systems Engineer and MUGuru, Dave Marra; User Group
Network/User Group Academy Director, Fred Showker; AACUG Director,
Dan Sailers and Mid-Atlantic Macintosh User Groups Team (MaMUGs)
President, Daniel East whose organization is co-hosting and
sponsoring the event.
MacDinners are great ways to meet with MUGs and end-users in your
community, learn about the latest products and technologies, have
great food, prizes, raffles and just good fun (see MacDinner 10.2
sponsors page for more info). These new tickets will be available
through July 18th and you can order them online via the MacDinner
10.2 website at
