Hi Everyone,
Recently a colleague in our community sent me a post regarding the URLs I
forward to people which I have quoted at the end of this message.
I want to make it clear that when I forward something with out a comment it
is not necessarily because I endorse a particular site nor is it necessarily
because I disagree with what is said.
The reason I forward stuff is because I believe that it is important that
you know what is going on in the world we all live in. I wish more of you
would do the same by forwarding URLs you find interesting and sharing more
of your thoughts on MUG leadership, its' challenges and problems.
Yet, as many of you have expressed to me how afraid you are to share your
opinion in this group because of the flame wars and personal attacks that
have continually been leveled over the past few years, I certainly
understand your apprehension. This issue is a TOTAL BUMMER to me because
YOUR OPINIONS are VALUEABLE and IMPORTANT. And I am interested in hearing
them.
Again this is not a judgment call. I may not agree with your opinion, but
it is still important to me to understand what you are thinking and why you
think the way you do because it make me challenge my own decisions and makes
all of us better MUG leaders.
We have many serious issues facing the Mac Community. There are some bad
things happening and there are some good things happening. This paradigm
shift also applies to MUGs. For us, it is a very good thing that Garr has
come onboard and however slowly its happening, we ARE in the process of a
paradigm shift towards a better direction for all of us.
I have more thoughts on this issue but am not yet ready to share them. When
I do, I am very interested in knowing what your opinions are of these
subjects.
In the mean time, here are some URLs that you should consider checking out:

And a couple of great DV tutorials by my favorite software maker Adobe:

I really enjoy being part of this community and want to thank everyone who
participates in the greater dialog that make us all better people and
leaders.
My personal best,

Randy,
Thank you for pointing out this article. It was an excellent behind the
scenes article. I had no idea of what a design chain was before.
It also points out Steve's strength in gathering genius and coordinating it.
I sometime wonder about your "no comment" posts, but after checking this one
out I will be checking them all out!
Thank you!
