USER GROUP UNIVERSITY COURSE MATERIALS AND AUDIO NOW ONLINE
Many of the faculty members from User Group University have provided
their course materials from their sessions for download. They are now
posted to the re-tooled UGU Schedule Page, along with links to the User
Group Report's coverage of the audio portion to many of the sessions.
Whether you were at UGU or not, you and your group can benefit from these
materials and presentations.

The Yearbook Page for User Group University New York 2002 is online. Yes,
we know it is a large page. Give it a few minutes to load then see the
faces, bios and accomplishments of the vanguard of Macintosh User Group
leaders who gathered before Macworld Expo to share their knowledge and
experience.
MACWORLD EXPO AND USER GROUP UNIVERSITY PHOTO AND IMOVIE GALLERY PAGE

Our traditional Photo and iMovie Gallery page is now online and ready for
submissions. It includes several links to online galleries and movies by
both user groups and their members, other sites, and even some new pages
of our own photos from the Mega-MUG Meeting, User Group Lounge and Apple
User Group Breakfast. Got a movie or photo gallery posted? Drop us an
email and we'll include the link on our page.
HONG KONG MACINTOSH USER GROUP PRESENTS MAC USER CARNIVAL
The Hong Kong Macintosh User Group (HKMUG) will present the Mac User
Carnival at the Munsang College on July 28. The event will include a
mini-expo with booths and seminars, a Second-Hand Market for users to
sell their items on-site, prizes and more. Visit their web site for

APCUG ANNOUNCED BEST NEWSLETTER AND BEST WEBSITE CONTEST FOR MEMBER GROUPS
The Association of Personal Computer User Groups has announced their
annual Best Newsletter and Best Website Contest. A variety of categories
will allow groups of varying sizes to compete on equal footing. A total
of 20 prizes will be awarded at the APCUG Fall Conference in Las Vegas.
There is no cost to enter, but the contest is open to APCUG members only.

USER GROUP NIGHT AT THE APPLE SOHO STORE: PHOTO GALLERY ONLINE
The Apple Store in SoHo was the scene of a special User Group Night to
cap off a week of successful MUG events at Macworld Expo. The store re-
opened at 7 PM for user group members, their families and special guests,
Apple Consultant Network (ACN) members. Presentations were given by Garr
Reynolds, Manager of Worldwide User Group Relations, Steve Cano, Apple
Store Manager, and many others. Products demonstrated included the
upcoming version of MacOS X, Jaguar, XServe, the new iMacs and more. A
wide variety of MUGs were represented, including MetroMac, LIMac, the
Princeton Macintosh Users Group, MacBUS, Main Line MUG, Wired Women,
Hershey Apple Core, and more. The first 200 people in the door received a
MacOS X Jaguar shirt. A photo gallery of the event is now online as part
of our Macworld Expo coverage.
