Your welcome. I grew up on Queens and we said the same thing when
referring to Manhattan. The Morgan and Frick are good suggestions but
I've never been there. I went to the Cloisters for the first time last
year when I took my family to NYC last summer. All things I never got to
in my misspent youth. :^) The Staten Island ferry was a fun thing
to do with dates during excursions into Manhattan. <g>
Oh, something else - down near Wall Street is Fraunces Tavern.
This is a restaurant which is also the place where George Washingtion
said farewell to his officers. Go there, have lunch and also take
in some history. Nearby is the NY Stock Exchange and Federal Hall
(the site of G. Washington's inauguration), and the S. I. Ferry is in
walking distance too.
