I'm sure there will be quite a boost now in the last days of the $49
special price for "former" iTools members.
Also .Mac will continuously be adding new services and I guess they set
the price for $99 calculating all the new services into this, instead
of raising the price every time a new service has been added to .Mac.

Which means that Apple must garner another 300,000 users before it even
begins to break even on the .mac thing.
Lets hope that those 300,000 people sign up by the end of the year so
.mac
does not go .bomb!
