Agree with Garr full-heartedly. MUG Centre's done way more good than
harm. I'm not one to complain about anything from the MUG Centre. (This
may reverse my previous skepticism about the password issue - but we'll
let sleeping dogs lie.)
BeiMac got publicity from the centre right after it launched. Was a
godsend. Thanks, guys!
(Only "complaint" - if it is "minor" enough to deserve the moniker - I
have, is that the chats (WWB and MUG Centre) are scheduled at the least
convenient times - until quite recently, when my university cancelled
(temporarily) the English classes, which made it possible for me to get
back home and access the chats. But hey - you can't satisfy everyone
here!)
The recent password "event" (to put it best) does not represent the MUG
Centre at all. It is just a minor incident which should not have gotten
too much bad PR, but I'm pleased someone pointed out the mistake and it
was fixed. This is called (IMVHO) constructive criticism. This "event"
should not tarnish the good image that is the MUG Centre.
To Chuck and Shawn King: the MUG Centre is a great source of MUG info.
Keep it that way. The MUG Community appreciates your effort. Congrats
on an effort well-done.
Best,
Yan Feng

Sorry, I really do not mean to be rude, but what on earth are you
talking
about? The MUG Center is incredible! It is the one place that has
up-to-date, useful, user group leader information. I have not found
another
place to get consistent UG news about events (past and future) -- In
fact
the site is updated daily. I am always amazed at what the MUG Center
accomplishes. Really a fantastic site, and this is the first time ever
I have heard anything but praise for the website.
Thanks, all.

Dittoes to that, Garr. TheMugCenter is a wealth of info, not only for
new
MUGs looking for help getting started but for existing MUGs. The
content
cannot but help you better your MUG in numerous ways!
