You all probably already know this, but I thought a reminder that they will
be OFF-LINE would be nice:
"Members who choose not to sign-up for .Mac should not expect to get their
information after the deadline. In fact we are planning for the service to
be offline starting at 12:30 am <PST> for about an hour on the morning of
October 1 to complete the transition."
I've already started backing up my "stuff" to my extra HD just in case there
is a "hiccup" on the Apple Servers. I'm sure everything will go very
smoothly, but I can't help but be a bit paranoid about it. With so many
accounts to sort through, who remains or gets cut, it will be a miracle if
there aren't a few snags. This is not going to be a simple task for Apple
IT's!!! I can't even imagine what their stress level is for the next few
days.
