ONE HUNDRED CAMPUS USER GROUPS...AND COUNTING
The most recent edition of the Apple User Group Bulletin announced a
notable success by the Campus Group Advisory Board. Not long ago the user
group movement on college campuses started with less than two dozen
recognized groups. Now, campus user groups number in excess of one hundred
. While this new category of user groups primiarily serves a college or
university, many are active in their communities and partner with
community user groups. This interaction was the subject of a session at
the User Group Leadership Conference last month in New York. (The
presentation is available as a PDF download and also as an audio file
from our coverage of UGLC.)
You can learn more about campus user groups, including resources to help
start and operate one, on the campus group page of the user group section
of Apple's web site, or by emailing the Campus Group Advisory Board.
