Are any of you bringing desktops or iMacs to your meetings? How are you
handling the matter of member-presenters not being able to bring their own
computer to present a demo, thus needing to use another?
Hello Richard,
I use the handy-dandy handles on my G4 and monitor, while our other
president brings in his "Lumbard" PowerBook with LCD projector. It is
more than some may think necessary, I like the added opportunities
this set up gives us. Some times I bring in the ol'8500(G3/400) in to
compare with or demonstrate something, but that is rare.
We have seldom had presenters that did not have their own laptops to
use. This past year only The Mac Smith folks did presentations other
than David or I, so we have not had this come up. I would welcome
other presenters! It is like pulling teeth to have the members come
up with topics other than trouble-shoot/problem-solve marathons.
Best wishes, Tarik
