Someone asked about the Jobs keynote. It is on the Apple site now.
Click on
Hot News and look in the Quicktime area. It requires QT 6. I'm going
to use
it as our UG program this week, streaming it directly from the website
over
a cable modem. It's a two-hour presentation; we may skip over certain
sections. As soon as possible these speeches are included on the DVD
that
the UG Ambassadors get; possibly it will be on the next one to come.
We only have dialup connection at our site. That means the video is the
size of 2 postage stamps. By the time it comes out on the DVD it is old
news. Wish Tech TV had broadcast it this time. There is a work around
if you have the paid version of Snapz Pro you can capture video, but
the files would be huge. Oh well, our demo guy says he will just use
some quicktime demos on the individual i Apps. Thanks to all that
emailed me about the original post.
