Although Apple doesn't promote it, you can create your own web pages
using any program you please (DreamWeaver, GoLive, PageSpinner, or (my
preferred) BBedit) and all the web graphics you want, and then place
the site into the "Sites" (no quotes in the name) folder in your .mac
account's iDisk. You can even use complex site organizational structure
including sub-folders. The main drawbacks are that you would have to
use a remotely hosted CGI server (there are several available) and you
won't be able to use Perl, PHP or any integrated online database in
your .mac website.

About using a .mac account for our Mac user group, can anyone tell me
how, or point me to instructions as to how to use the web space for
our user group using a site design of our own and not the
.mac-provided "cookbook" design for a personal or family type web
site. -Thanks
